Little Comforts

for Heavy Hearts

In honor of our little girl Ansley’s life, Ansley's Room brings comfort, rest, and peace to families in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Wolfson Children's Hospital. Because in the hardest moments, even the smallest comforts can carry you through.

our mission

We exist to bring comfort, dignity, and peace to families walking through the unimaginable inside the PICU. Because no parent should sit in that room alone.

The Heart Behind It All

What is Ansley’s Room

When your child is in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, everything stops. The world outside keeps moving, but yours narrows to a hospital room, a monitor, and a prayer.

Ansley's Room is a peaceful retreat inside the PICU at Wolfson Children's Hospital. A place where parents can step away for just a moment to breathe, make a cup of coffee, grab a snack, or simply sit in a space that feels less clinical and more like home.

We also provide comfort boxes for newly admitted families and grief boxes for parents walking through the loss of a child. As a family that spent immense amounts of time in the PICU during Ansley’s life, we choose every detail with intention, because these families deserve to feel seen, cared for, and held.

Our Vision

Let’s Build the Room Together

We are building a space inside the Pediatric ICU at Wolfson Children's Hospital where families can exhale. A room with warm lighting, soft seating, and a fresh cup of coffee waiting. A place that feels less like a hospital and more like someone thought of you in the middle of the storm.

Calming sage walls. Cozy armchairs. A stocked fridge. Snacks, toiletries, blankets, and every small essential families forget to pack when their world turns upside down. Every detail is intentional. Every texture chosen to feel like home.

How You Can
Make A Difference

  • A coffee and snack station with a beverage cooler, coffee machines, jars of snacks, and a wooden shelf with tea boxes and jars of cookies, inside a cozy room with plants and warm lighting.

    Give

Your generosity fills the fridge, stocks the coffee station, and places a comfort box in the hands of a family who just received the hardest news of their life. Every dollar goes directly to caring for PICU families.

  • Three volunteers in blue shirts labeled 'Volunteer' organizing donations into boxes labeled 'Donations' in a room with a white brick wall and a clock.

    Volunteer

Lend your hands and your heart. From restocking the room to assembling comfort boxes, your time makes a tangible difference for families who need it most.

  • People sitting at a rustic wooden table in a restaurant, engaged in conversation. Water bottles, glasses, and condiments are visible on the table. One person shown is wearing a white t-shirt with text on the back, and a wristwatch.

    Spread the Word
